CENTRIFUGAL BARREL SERIES

The GCB Series provides the most economical, high speed finishing available. GCB machines operate on the “ferris wheel” principal with a 1 : 1 ratio of barrel rotation to turret rotation. Four barrels are mounted at the periphery of a large turret. Each barrel is loaded to approximately 50-80% full with media, parts and water.

During operation, rotation of the large turret creates a centrifugal force on the media and parts inside each barrel. This force compacts the load into a tight mass causing the media and parts to slide against each other, removing burrs and creating superior finishes. This action also reduces the cycle time needed to complete the finishing of the parts by up to a factor of 30 over conventional vibratory and barrel tumbling. Hand finishing operations can now be efficiently and economically automated with the GCB series machines. Results with this centrifugal barrel finishing equipment are consistent and predictable, every time.

Vibratory Tub Series

Giant Finishing GT Series vibratory deburring equipment and mass finishing machine systems have a variable speed and adjustable eccentric weights which permits deburring action ranging from very aggressive to very gentle action for fragile parts finishing.

All Giant Finishing vibratory machines feature our off-set balanced suspension, variable speed, and low work height. For aggressive finishing of iron casting or polishing molds a Giant Finishing GT will work the part and get a great finish.

Vibratory Oval Series

Giant Oval Vibratory Deburring Machine

Giant Finishing’s GO series is ideal for continues process and high production of small to medium parts (stamping, casting) with time cycles between 5 minutes to 30 minutes.

Giant Ovals can be run batch or continuous the best of both worlds.

This vibratory deburring equipment amongst the others can be customized for your particular applications and we can even make left or right hand sided outputs.

The oval series machines are a popular option for equipment as the machine can be set up to run batch or continuous flow. Giving the customer the option of running parts in a batch cycle to handle longer process times. Giants Oval series can be run just like a standard vibratory bowl. For short time cycles set the dam in the unload position and feed the parts continuously for a once around and out process with a much smaller foot print than an FT series, multi-pass, or long Radius machine.

Because of the overall length and unique oval design (race track shape) a much longer and wider channel has the capabilities of standard deburring better than any long radius or multi-pass vibratory equipment out there. In a single once around pass parts are discharged out of the machinery and deburred efficiently.

Vibratory Cob Dryer

Giant Finishing Corn Cob Dryers are the most efficient way to dry your parts as the heated corn cob actually wipes each and every part dry which will eliminate all water spots or left over residue from a previous vibratory finishing process.This Giant Finishing vibratory equipment is a cob dryer that provides a compact, economical and rapid method of drying wet parts.The corn cob is heated by multi-pass hot liquid jackets which are built into the machine. The corn cob and parts tumble by the hot liquid jackets to absorb heat. Hot liquid is recirculated by a pump which is located in an insulated tank with a heater and thermostat. The tank has a low level switch for pump and heater protection.These machines are designed to work with a wide range of  vibratory finishing machine . They can also be used in conjunction with other forms of continuous feed equipment or used to receive products from bins or hoppers.

GIANT BOWL SERIES

This vibratory finishing machine has a spiral bottom design that allows for part separation, manual or automatic.

Spiral bottom machines feature 100% separation of parts and media with specially designed cast urethane screens. We custom make these screens based on your parts sizes and media chosen for your process. We have made it possible to fully automate the entire finishing process after the loading of parts, the machine will start, process, then unload your parts.

Different finishes are acquired not only through the correct compound and media selection, but also fine tuning of the drive electronically. Do not overlook this standard feature if you process a variety of parts and desire different finishes for each one.

PRI Series

The Performance Racing Industry, Giant Tub vibratory deburring equipment is significantly different than the average GT style deburring machine. The size, shape, style and design are specifically for fine finishing automotive parts by using less amplitude and a higher speed. For example polishing headers or manifolds for a great metal shine. Exhaust tips, rear-end gears, intakes, mass-airflow sensors, throttle bodies and more – the automotive finishing possibilities are endless! This vibratory finishing machine is re-designed to supply a higher speed with a lower amplitude to achieve that lustrous cosmetic finish.

Continuous Flow Series

Giant Finishing’s FT Series is our specialty for high volume vibratory deburring equipment for parts with short time cycles. Stampings, laser cut parts, die castings, extrusions, and powdered metal parts are all excellent candidates for Giant Finishing’s FT series continuos flow systems.

This system is ideal for the facility that is looking to setup in-line production for a continuous flow of parts. Allowing the operator on one end of the finishing equipment to drop parts on a conveyor then receive parts on constant basis on the other end.

Essentially we give you the option to have a very complex yet very flexible material handling system which allows for virtually no operator guidance, just push start and walk away. System can be set up for in line single operator use or no operator involvement at all by utilizing conveyors and other material handling systems.

Batch Bowl Series

Giant Finishing manufactures a lot of different machinery, from belt washers to parts separation decks but our #1 product is our vibratory finishing equipment.

We take pride in our deburring machines being made here in the United States. Building vibratory tumblers is what we do and we’ve built tumblers for over 25 years. Our deburring bowls are made out of steel, supported by gussets and then strengthened by heat treating and shot blasting.
